RIOT PRESENTS: YAGMUR

Driven by technical precision and a distinct creative identity, YAGMUR is an Istanbul-based producer and DJ with North Macedonian roots. Combining her professional background as an engineer and designer with a deep obsession for audio architecture, she approaches electronic music through both a technical lens and a deeply creative instinct. Having entered the scene purely as a producer and studio engineer, she spent five years honing her signature sound across a wide sonic spectrum, sculpting tracks that span high-energy DnB, psy-trance, raw, hard, instrumental, and proper groove techno. Seamlessly bringing that studio mastery into the booth, her transition to DJing was instant.

We celebrate Pride because there is no thriving music scene without spaces where everyone feels safe to be themselves, without judgement. The dancefloor has always been one of those rare places where labels, backgrounds and polarizing opinions fade into the background, allowing people to simply exist, express themselves and connect through music.

These photos were taken by one of the RIOT founders at the My Heart Is a Magnet exhibition in MALBA Buenos Aires, Argentina. They are a reminder that art, expression, activism and community have always played an important role in creating positive change.

Especially now, in a time where division and polarization seem louder than ever, it’s important to remember what brings us together.

Petra Yelda is a Gothenburg-based DJ and artist whose roots in the Middle East and years immersed in club and festival culture have shaped her distinctive sound. Since beginning her journey in 2017, she has become a key figure in Gothenburg's underground scene. Co-founding collectives Nycto and Xtnd'd and helping cultivate the city's electronic music community. Known for her driving, raw and hypnotic sets, Petra delivers a precise yet intense sound inspired by countless hours on the dancefloor.

A Berlin-based DJ and producer originally from Minsk, Belarus. Drawing from her background as a professional dancer, she creates hypnotic and emotionally driven sets that blend the raw minimalism of Berlin and Detroit with the playful energy of Barcelona. Her performances unfold as carefully crafted sonic journeys. Designed to connect deeply with the dancefloor through rhythm and storytelling.

Committed to inclusivity and representation within electronic music, Lola actively creates empowering spaces that center FLINTA and LGBTQ+ voices while celebrating diverse and boundary pushing artistic expression. Her vision strongly aligns with that of RIOT, sharing a dedication to community and transformative club culture.

Second up is 💜

Zsa Zsa is a DJ with a soft spot for bass, broken beats, and alternative club sounds. Her sets jump between UK garage, breakbeats, techno, dubstep, and dub, moving fluidly through club territories where groove, tension, and low end pressure take priority over genre rules.

Originally from Poland, she comes from a background in professional contemporary dance, which plays a role in how she approaches DJing. Rhythm, movement, and physical response are central to the way she selects and mixes music. Drawn to underground sounds that push beyond conventional club formulas, Zsa Zsa balances playful energy with artistic depth.

She has shared stages with artists like Toumba, Hassan Abou Alam, Valesuchi, Toma Kami, and Oldyungmayn, appeared on radio shows and podcasts across Groningen, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Kassel and Bucharest, and played at well known venues including Club OOST and Paradigm Festival.
