Blowpipe brings vinyl, cd's, dvd’s and mp3’s in genres like electronics, indie and noise. Started in 2002 by Wim Dekker as outlet of his band Smalts and active in music industry since end of the 70’s - meanwhile longtime Minny Pops member. Active in Dutch avant-garde post-punk scene Ultra in Amsterdam and Studio12 in Haarlem. Switched to filmindustry in the 90s & started publishing arthouse films
through Moskwood Media. Since then Blowpipe has released material from acts like Elektra, Heartsnatcher, VM and bands like Betonfraktion, Couleur Café and Dangermen plus outsiders like Big Hare, Harry Merry, Rooie Waas. Also Ultra veterans deNeuve, Minny Pops and Plus Instruments are represented plus local contributors like Cheerful Fruitflies, Danika and Grey Lotus.
