Publishing House Donkey Books Donkey Books is op 1 januari 2024 opgericht met als doel onze publicaties in eigen beheer uit te kunnen geven.

De naam verwijst naar Heemskerk, waar Donkey Books opgericht is. Heemskerkers hebben als bijnaam Ezel omdat enkele Heemskerkse tuinders rond 1900 hun producten met ezelskarren naar de veiling in Beverwijk brachten. Donkey Books was founded on January 1, 2024 with the aim of self-publishing our publications. The name refers to the place Heemskerk (Netherlands), where Donkey Books was founded. Peopl

e from Heemskerk are nicknamed Donkey because some gardeners brought their products to the auction in Beverwijk in donkey carts around 1900.
