Join the Sunday Sessions Afrikaans 100: An Acoustic Celebration on Sunday October 5th with and !

This October, Wisseloord Studios proudly presents a special community concert celebrating 100 years of the Afrikaans language through music. South African artists and will take the stage for an intimate acoustic performance, sharing their favorite Afrikaans songs alongside their own original work. Both Dawie and Dewald have enjoyed highly successful music careers in South Africa, and now call the Netherlands home: Dawie in Hilversum and Dewald in Breda. Together, they will bring the soul, stories, and melodies of Afrikaans music to life in the heart of Wisseloord Studios.

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music, culture, and community, recorded live on Sunday, 5 October 2025, from 13:00 to 17:00 at Wisseloord Studios.

On Sept 7, 2025 (13:30–16:30), Wisseloord Studios presents the first live performance and recording of a new solo piano project by and . Developed over the past year at Wisseloord, this collaboration between composer and engineer brings music and sound design together in a unique way.

The audience will have the unique opportunity not only to attend the premiere concert of this album, but also to witness the process firsthand. After the concert, Ruffini and Rasetti will share their creative and technical insights in an exclusive panel discussion.

SONIC Writing Camps by Wisseloord Studios invite women and non-binary artists across Europe to join a 4-day intensive program designed to elevate your music career FOR FREE!

From August 28–31 2025, in Hilversum, you’ll take part in a Wisseloord Academy workshop focused on creative and business skills, followed by three days of hands-on writing sessions in professional studios. You keep full rights to everything you create and finish with a listening session, presenting your work to for valuable feedback and exposure.

Apply by August 17th, 23:59 CET for the camp from August 28-31. All applicants will be notified about the selection on August 18 and 19. Travel and accommodation are not included. The camp is open to women and non-binary creatives from all EU countries. Only about 25 spots available.

Meet , one of your coaches during the Summer Camp at .brussels

Alexander Cornelis is a Belgian music producer, A&R manager at , cultural programmer at .brussels and resident DJ at .radio. Active since 2012 under the alias Moodprint, he’s released multiple EPs and collaborated with artists like and . His work has been supported by , , and , with airplay on , .fm, and more. In 2014, he opened Belgium’s first .

Beyond this, Alexander co-founded , curating events with institutions like and . As a former A&R manager at , he developed talent including .music and . At .brussels, he curates programs and supports studio residents like and Panenka. He also serves on the board of Loadstone Management, representing artists such as and AliA. Alexander brings over a decade of experience blending communication science, music performance, and cultural entrepreneurship. Alexander is passionate about sound, collaboration, and the development of emerging talent.
