The British Film Institute (BFI) selects Inn-Archive B.V. as a preferred supplier for rare video tape archive digitisation services
London, September 2022 – Inn-Archive, based in Hilversum, The Netherlands, has been selected by BFI (British Film Institute) as a supplier for the provision of Digitisation Services for video tape archives. Following a highly detailed review, Remi Abayomi has brokered a deal in which Inn-Archive has been selected as part of a framework of specialist companies to work with the BFI.
Inn-Archive is participating in a programme to safeguard high risk significant video collections held by the BFI National Archive and the Regional and National Film Archives across the UK, through digital preservation.
“We are really pleased to have been offered the opportunity by the BFI to help save irreplaceable titles - stories that make up the fabric of British filmic history – that are stored on at-risk and rare, videotape formats” said René Kroon, business owner and director of Inn-Archive B.V.
