VHmusic Recordlabel releasing old records on all streaming- and download platforms. Turned out the band was not on any of the legal streaming platforms.

The other day I was listening to some vinylrecords and thought: I need these tracks in my digital library. I approached the band, all their old labels were cool with it and within no time Oil’s entire discography was online. This was enough reason for me to start my own hardcore punk label: VHmusic. After years of releasing metal, garagerock and surfrock it is time to bring some of my favorite hardcore punk bands into the digital world.

Morgen is het dan zover.

We hebben al veel vragen gehad en voor degene die een reünieoptreden hadden verwacht zullen daar nog op moeten wachten want wie weet in de toekomst. 😉

Nadat we waren begonnen met de band, verlieten Stein Steeman en Danny Vlaspoel ons alweer na een half jaartje en werden vervangen door Fred op drums en Louis Melger op gitaar.
Bij ons eerste optreden in Magnifiosi te Lisse stonden we nog als Shredded Lead op de poster terwijl we onszelf al Hybrid noemden.
Ons volgende optreden zou plaats vinden onder de naam Brutal Obscenity in Bar American te Middelburg als voorprogramma van Silenxce. Echter een week ervoor besloot Fred ermee te stoppen. Wat nu? Gelukkig wilde Stijn De Jong, drummer van Citadel ons uit de brand helpen door in een week onze set te leren en het optreden toch door kon gaan.
Op de Grafische MTS had bassist Ernst drummer Emiel Hannink leren kennen (waar overigens ook Aart-Jan, de gitarist van Silenxce op zat) en zo werd Brutal Obscenity bekendste line-up gecompleteerd.
Meerdere optredens met Silenxce volgde en werd het tijd om een demo te gaan opnemen.

The other day I was listening to some vinylrecords and thought: I need these tracks in my digital library. Turned out the band was not on any of the legal streaming platforms. I approached the band, all their old labels were cool with it and within no time Oil’s entire discography was online.
This was enough reason for me to start my own hardcorepunk label: VHmusic. After years of releasing metal, garagerock and surfrock, it is time to bring some of my favorite hardcore punk bands that only released vinyl, cassettes and cds into the digital world. Lots more coming up, stay tuned!
