BELGIUM YOU WERE INCREDIBLE.

Last weekend I played my first ceremonial concert in Oostende, Belgium at the beautiful festival

And how amazing it was.. only two people in the room have ever attended a listening and singing ceremony before and the rest was new to it. It felt magic to be in this ‘fresh field’.

Hearts were cracked open, tears flowed and our voices filled the festival terrain. I am incredibly grateful for every brave heart that showed up.

“I am a bridge builder 👷‍♀️”
“Really?” Asked life. Then show it to me and show it to yourself.

There used to be a time where I felt a certain audience is ‘my people’, but what if it is not up to us to let our art and magic land somewhere?

I got to play at the amazing camping El Dorado a week ago and it was beautiful. Young people, old people, conscious communities, builders, tourists, everybody sat together in one room and everybody decided there: we go on this journey.

So we sang together, made jokes, listened to each other and I felt the fundament of the bridge getting stronger. And I feel this is the time to build more and more of that. Not us vs them, but together.

Last week I came back from one of the most intense, beautiful and vibrant places:

I got asked to write the song of the year for this amazing woman’s festival in The Netherlands and I couldn’t be more grateful to do this for the second time. Playing 5 days in a row, being surrounded by the most loving women in my life and feeling deeply carried and empowered by everyone, is a blessing I will forever take with me.

And then, after everything, I came home. Yearning to be with my mother, but she was on holidays ;-). I called my best friend .is.hier and I went straight to his house. Sobbing in his arms.

We spent the days together and we do what we love most; creating sounds and music. Our way of regulating ourselves, holding each other through our voices and through connection. Giving a voice to that which cannot be spoken out loud.

Sometimes we all need that girl next door that reminds us “what are you waiting for?” Time is an illusion and your desires were put here for a reason. Follow them and you will come closer to Spirit than ever.

My desires and reality are finally taking shape. Maybe it looks on here that I am already living aligned, but there is so much more. Deep desires to make videos, podcasts and more. Creating is key to me and yet it’s still such a process to accept being seen.

A lot of the time I want to hide, hibernate, become one with only nature and then there is this other side that wants to put herself out there. It’s a journey that I’m willing to make each day and I cheer for you that you will shine too. This is your sign ❤️
