It would clearly be an error not to include the story of Cherry-Lily Luster-P in this feature edition on polled breeding. It was Luster-P who raised the standard of polled genetics for both production and especially type to the point of parity with the best the Holstein breed has to offer. His legacy has put polled genetics on the verge of turning the Holstein into a polled breed.
