Last but not least, the sixth act of the night is EYES WIDE SHUT!

EYES WIDE SHUT facilitates one-off listening sessions focused on live electronic music. They host their favorite artists in the ambient realm for a unique performance at different locations in the city of Leiden. With each DJ-set they further expand on the sound they like to bring forward, but can easily drift off in different directions.
Simply close your eyes and open your ears.

Insert Blank Label Night will take place TONIGHT from 9PM to 2AM at Resistor Leiden. All the profits will be donated to Dutch Civilian Action who provide volunteer work for Ukrainian refugees.

The fifth act to play tomorrow is nietyouri!

The last time we saw this guy perform he stole the show. A true entertainer with clever bars on raw beats. For the upcoming show he told us that he decided to switch it up and
give the people something unexpected. We can’t wait!

The fourth act to play is Fabrik!

Fabrik is a supergroup consisting of 3 members: Bart van der Ven, Michiel Thompson and Maurits Baas. They play short unfiltered punk tunes about the Industrial Revolution that will blow you away. The boys have been playing together for years without ever performing a show, until now! So get ready because this will be crazy!

Our third act to play is M.J.H. Thompson!

Expect the unexpected with this guy. The songs in his ever growing discography have always been left field yet strangely mesmerizing. Get ready to be enchanted by his odd lyrics, janky guitar playing and unique vocal delivery.

This artist mastered the ability to write funny, smart and infectious lyrics while conveying all this in an effectively simplistic manner.
Her songs will bring you joy and honesty!

The first act to play on Insert Blank Label Night is Laura Kampman with her project Roof of Air!

She will come play and layer pieces from her ever-growing archive which holds a friendly amount of phone recordings from the people around her and herself (ambient DJ set).

Hello Party people,
We, Insert Blank Records, are hosting an evening full of music on the 25th of June. The party will be held at the Resistor in Leiden from 21:00 until 02:00.
There will be six diverse music acts, so there will be something to enjoy for everyone! The artists that will be performing are Roof of Air, Juf Emma, M.J.H. Thompson, Fabrik, and nietyouri. You can check them out on every streaming platform, except for Fabrik because they are too punk. The night will end with the amazing DJ-duo EYES WIDE SHUT.
And very important, the ticket sale will be donated to (Dutch Civilian Action), an important organisation that helps Ukraine refugees.
Come party with us, support a good cause and we will see you there!

Insert Blank Story

A record label (& art collective) made by a group of friends.

The COVID 19 outbreak brought us, and many musicians with us, in the downcast situation where rehearsing and recording with our bands was made impossible. However, we still wanted to create and record music at home. With all the recordings going on, we found ourselves in need of a platform for all these new projects.

In less than two days Insert Blank went from a playful idea to a fully operating professional organization with clear structure, dreams, ideas and most importantly: a shared vision.
