As authoritarianism rises globally, historians and political scientists turn to the Roman Republic for lessons. Ioannis Mitsios presents a comprehensive study of the west pediment of the Parthenon in 'The West Pediment of the Parthenon: Iconography and Iconology' (vol. 31).
