Sourced from Havana, this unique collection includes materials on figures like Che Guevara and Fidel Castro, the Guantánamo Bay Naval Base, Cuban migration, and numerous regional conflicts. It features press clippings, speeches, interviews, and rare documents, many of which are hard to find elsewhere. With full-text search and MARC21 records, this resource is essential for studying revolutionary movements, political leaders, and historical events across the region.

We are pleased to share that Merrill D. Whitburn, author of "America’s Great Age of Rhetoric, 1770–1860: Advocacy, Conceptualization, Institutionalization", has been awarded the 2025 Everett Lee Hunt Award by the Eastern Communication Association.

This volume traces the development of rhetoric in 18th- and 19th-century America, examining its public role, ethical foundations, and institutional context. Engaging both classical and emerging traditions, it offers valuable insights for scholars of American Studies and Classicists interested in the reception and reinterpretation of classical rhetoric in modern times.
