Meryl Janmaat is a 3rd year Art History student who wrote an article for the new edition of Panoramic!
Inspired by a course from japan studies, Meryl chose to write her essay about a painting made by a samurai. By comparing Japanes culture to Dutch culture she has taken a new and exciting approach to the topic.

On Friday the 24th of may, we will celebrate the launch of Leiden University’s new student journal and we would love for you to join us! 🍾

The symposium will take place in the Lipsius Building, room 0.19 from 15:00-17:00, followed by a casual gathering until 18:00.
