After an impressive voyage across the Atlantic Ocean and a winter in the Caribbean, "Distant Shores IV" is back in the Netherlands after 10 months! This Enksail Orion 49 will soon be present to view at the Hiswa in Water boat show in Lelystad from September 3rd to 7th. You can find us at stand D38.

Our Enksail Yachts are built semi-custom, which means the client has significant influence over the equipment, layout, and styling. This particular Enksail Orion 49 is richly equipped for worldwide adventures, including a hybrid propulsion system, a large 28kWh lithium battery bank, electric mainsail and headsails, a hydraulic lifting keel, a triple rudder system, a solar arch, and a watermaker. This week, the Enksail Halcyon 50 has been transported from the carpentry shed to our finishing shed, where the final details will be added. Among others, the cork decks and solar panels will be installed shortly

In collaboration with Naval Architect Sealevel Amsterdam, we are developing a new yacht in the Enksail fleet: the Halcyon 80.

This 80-foot sailing yacht will be semi-custom built, offering flexibility in styling, layout, and equipment – fully tailored to the owner’s preferences. An ocean-going design that brings together performance, comfort, and individuality.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗰𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝟱𝟬 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 ⚙️

The aluminum work and painting of the Enksail Halcyon 50 are complete, and the yacht is now in the hall where the final outfitting will take place. We are currently installing the basic systems, so we will soon be able to install the woodwork that has been prepped in the mock-up.

The Enksail Halcyon, a semi-custom-built sailboat with many possibilities, is a spacious yacht with a large deckhouse and panoramic views all around. The first Enksail Halcyon will be a well-equipped yacht, ready for any journey.

The galley is located above deck, and thanks to a large retractable window, there is direct contact with people in the cockpit.

The owner's cabin is positioned in such a way that from the bed, one can look out through the hull windows. Additionally, the yacht has two guest cabins with ample storage space and a spacious sail storage area in the bow.

The Enksail Halcyon 50 has a hull length of 15.20 meters and a beam of 5 meters, with a minimum draft of 1.50 meters. The yacht is equipped with a hydraulic keel, which reaches a depth of 3.00 meters when fully lowered.

While the outfitting of the Enksail Halcyon 50 is in full swing, we are also enthusiastically working on the first sketches of the Enksail Halcyon 80, which will take the next step in the future of our yacht construction. We are happy to keep you updated, so stay tuned for the latest news.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗰𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝟱𝟬 ⛵

The construction of the Enksail Halcyon 50 is proceeding steadily. The hull is at the painter and at the moment the nutwood interior is being built in the mock-up.

The spaces inside the ship are becoming more and more visible. The first photo shows the very spacious owner's cabin, featuring a desk and a wall of cabinets. With the chosen layout of this yacht, the owner can look out through the hull windows from his bed. A special feature of the Enksail Halcyon is the very large deckhouse which allows to keep the galley on the upper deck. The ship is in proportion very spacious which makes it an ideal ship to meet clients wishes and there are many possibilities in terms of layout.

Yesterday was the handover of the hull of the next Enksail Orion 49. We moved the ship from the hull builder to our yard. Soon we will put ballast lead in the ship and then the painting work will begin.
