No Christmas tree this year, instead I fully decorated my plant shelf! 🎅✨️🎁

I went all-in on decorating my shelf this year and honestly… the pink tones with the green plants were meant to be there! It turned out so cosy and festive, even Twigs is obsessed 😅💕

Now I’m curious…
Would you ever decorate your plants for the holidays?

Alocasia roots are full of surprises 👀⬇️

➡️ Comment ‘BULBS’ and I’ll send you everything I’m using here 🌼

While repotting my Alocasia Polly, I found a whole bunch of corms. Tiny bulbs that can grow into brand new plants!

I’m planting them in moist sphagnum moss, keeping it slightly damp (not soaked), and placing the container in my grow cabinet for warmth and humidity. The perfect setup for healthy root growth 🌿

💡 Tip: Place the flat side down and the pointy side up, that’s where new growth will emerge.

Now it’s just a waiting game… but trust me, it’s so worth it 🪴

Have you ever found corms on your Alocasia?

Crazy what time can do 🤯➡️
Two years later and my Syngonium Chiapense is unrecognizable (in the best way)!

Have you ever seen this plant before? It's one of the fastest growing Syngonium in my collection, and honestly one of the cutest 💚

Heart-shaped leaves that just keep getting bigger as it matures. It’s such a rewarding plant to watch growing 🌱

I keep mine in a chunky, airy soil mix + fertilize every other watering. Bright indirect light is a must (mine is growing under a grow light).
Soil mix: Syngonium mix from - code 'LIVINGJUNGLEE' for 10% off.

Let’s set my new Anthuriums up for success! 🪴✨

Curious to try importing plants yourself?
➡️ Comment “DETAILS” and I’ll dm you the link to shop these Anthuriums (plus a discount code!) and everything else you need to set them up for succes 💚

These beautiful plants just arrived from (in perfect condition!). Honestly, I never realized importing plants could be this easy 😯 They literally handle all the tricky stuff for you! Permits, paperwork, shipping… the whole thing.

For a little experiment, I repotted them in two different setups.
Two are in a chunky, well-draining Anthurium soil mix 🌱
Three are in a mineral substrate + self-watering pot, for consistent moisture with minimal effort 💧

Can’t wait to check back in a few weeks to see which medium they thrive in best!

Have you ever imported plants before? This was my first time… and probably not the last 🤭

Propagating in perlite might just become your new favourite way to root your plant cuttings 😯💚

➡️ Comment “STUFF” & I’ll send you everything I used (plus a discount code!) ✨

My method is super simple:
I use a clear storage box filled with perlite (from — code LIVINGJUNGLEE for 10% off).
Add just enough water to lightly moisten the perlite, place your plant cuttings on top, close the lid, and keep the box in a bright spot.
I put mine under grow lights, but it also works great in bright, indirect light.

That closed environment creates consistent humidity. Which is exactly why perlite propagation works so well and roots form so quickly 🌱

Seeing those first roots appear? Still one of the best feelings as a plant parent.
If you’ve never tried propagating your plants in perlite, this is your sign ✨
