September 17, 2018 - Paul kicks off his "Freshen Up" tour in Quebec City, Canada in support of his latest album "Egypt Station".
The tour which included Japan, Europe, North and South America would come to a close in Los Angeles in July, 2019.
A May-June, 2000 leg in Europe was cancelled due to the pandemic.

First leg of Paul's Got Back Tour took him to the United States.
Subsequent legs in 2023 - 2024 visited South America, Mexico, Europe and Australia before coming to a close in late 2025 in North America.

Rumor has it that Abe Laboriel, Jr, Paul's touring drummer since 2001 is set to become Pearl Jams new drummer.
Earlier this year, Paul had fill in drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the drum kit during Macca's "SNL" performances.

As a rule, when on tour Paul will start every show wearing a very stylish suit jacket.
One jacket he wore in 2010 during his "Up and Coming" tour really stood out!

Paul interrupts his 1993 tour schedule to stage a special concert at the Hollywood Bowl in support of the USA Earth Day appeal. He headlines a line-up of P.M. Dawn, 10,000 Maniacs, Bruce Cockburn, Kenny Loggins, Steve Miller and Don Henley. Paul performs a shortened, 17-song version of the New World Tour set, adding ‘Mother Nature’s Son’ and ‘Blackbird’. k d lang guest-stars with Paul and Linda on ‘Hope Of Deliverance’. For the finale, all the artists join Paul for ‘Hey Jude’ – with a huge roar erupting from the crowd as Ringo Starr walks out to sing the chorus shoulder to shoulder with his former partner.

August 1986 saw the release of Paul's studio album Press to Play. In addition to wife Linda, several musicians took part in recording sessions including Pete Townshend, Phil Collins, Eric Stewart and Ray Cooper.
The album did not contain any tracks that Paul would perform live on tour over the next 40 years. In fact, just one track from this LP was performed live by Paul soon after the albums release...Only Love Remains.
