From October 22-24, we’re taking over Westerpark for a 3-day radio broadcast as part of ADE Lab, and we’re not doing it alone.

Hosted by Open Source Radio, this special ADE edition brings together three of our favourite stations from across the Netherlands:

Five years ago, we hit record for the first time with just a few mics, a container, and a wild idea to start something communal. Fast forward to now: countless shows, endless discoveries, and a growing community that continues to shape what Open Source Radio can be 💚💚💚

To mark the occasion, we curated a special 2-day radio program, filled to the brim with residents, collaborators, and friends, diving deep into the sounds, stories, and people that make OSR what it is. From heartfelt talks to back-to-back marathon sets, this was radio the way we love it: open, personal, and all over the place.

As night fell, the celebration spilt out into the city. We took over De Plak, Paak Vinyl Bar, and Bloemerbar for a three-club party that carried the energy off-air and onto the floor.

Thank you all. Here’s to the next five

Nachtsymposium 2025: De dag voor Nacht- en Festival Professionals

Na de succesvolle eerste editie van het Nachtsymposium vorig jaar keert het evenement terug op vrijdag 14 november in Cultuurhuis de Lindenberg, Nijmegen (12:00-18:00)!

De nacht- en festivalcultuur bruist als nooit tevoren en verandert in hoog tempo. Tegelijkertijd staat de nacht onder druk. Big tech en marketingmachines bepalen wie doorbreekt en wie onzichtbaar blijft.
Wat betekent dit voor makers, organisatoren en bezoekers? Hoe voorkomen we dat de nacht een homogene massa wordt? Hoe houden we ruimte voor experiment, voor gezondheid, voor het ongepolijste en het onverwachte dat de nacht zo bijzonder maakt?
Het Nachtsymposium 2025 verkent deze bewegingen. In themasessies verdiepen we ons in de opkomst van nieuwe scenes en strategieën, in de vraag hoe muzikanten, makers en kunstenaars kunnen navigeren binnen én buiten de industrie.
Dit, en nog veel meer verbindende, verdiepende en versterkende thema’s, keynote sprekers, panelsessies, Q&A’s én een netwerkborrel, vinden jullie op het Nachtsymposium 2025.

It’s hard to believe, but we’re turning five today. What started as a shipping container with a mixer and a dream has grown into a full-blown platform, community, and constant stream of sound. This Kunstnacht (coming Saturday), we’re tuning into something special. Together with LUX, Open Source Radio takes over three rooms deep into the night.

In the cinema, we’re streaming a full evening of DJ sets straight from our container - live visuals, big screen, full sound. Next door, you’ll find a solo exhibition by visual artist Kyra van Erp, whose playful, strange, and tactile work has been a recurring part of the OSR visual identity. And of course, there’s dancing. In the third space, we’re moving offline with a DJ and dancefloor to bring the sound to life.

This , we’re taking over and bringing the full OSR experience indoors. From our shipping container to the cinema screen and beyond.

We’re spreading out across three rooms for one night only:

- A live stream cinema: Watch the radio happen in real time - visuals, audio and all - broadcast straight from our container onto the big screen, with the cinema sound system turned up.
- An art exhibition by : “The exhibition at KunstNacht consists of collected work from the past two years. My work mainly consists of drawings, paintings and screenprints. I create dreamy images using organic, floating shapes and lines. Often inspired by nature, my surroundings and inner thoughts. Apart from the exhibition, I will be selling screenprints and shirts. Like the t-shirts I designed for Open Source Radio and many other designs.”
- A dance room: No explanations needed. Just a booth, a DJ, and a floor to move on.
