We wish to inform the traveling public and all visitors to Eastern Visayas that San Juanico Bridge โ€” the vital link between Leyte and Samar โ€” is currently operating under vehicle weight restrictions as part of ongoing safety measures.

Effective 15 May 2025 (Thursday), only vehicles weighing 3 tons and below are allowed to pass through San Juanico Bridge until further notice.

This temporary restriction is in place to ensure public safety and structural integrity while assessments or maintenance works are being carried out.
