God's miracles are proven and tested in many ways. In every tragedy, there's always a survivor.

Out of the 242 people onboard, including 230 passengers and 12 crew members, 169 are Indian nationals, 53 British nationals,
1 Canadian national and 7 are Portuguese nationals. Out of the passengers, 104 were males and 112 were females. Fourteen children including two infants were among the 230 passengers.

THE ONLY SURVIVOR: 40-year-old British passenger Vishwash Kumar Ramesh appears to be the sole survivor of Air India flight 171, which crashed on June 12 with 242 passengers and crew aboard, reports say. He is reported to have occupied seat 11A.

"It all happened so quickly," he told the Hindustan Times. "When I got up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I stood up and ran. There were pieces of the plane all around me," he said.

"Someone grabbed hold of me and put me in an ambulance and brought me to the hospital." | via Reuters
