As we celebrate National Women's Month, the Gender and Development unit of Pangasinan State University - Asingan Campus, together with the Supreme Student Council will conduct a one-day celebration of women empowerment that will showcase the talents of PSUnians.

PSU Concurs 1st Virtual Graduation

The University’s 41st Commencement Exercises with the theme “PSUnians: Huwaran ng Katatagan at Kahusayan sa Bagong Normal” will be conducted on November 25, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. via official Facebook account: Pangasinan State University and Youtube account: PSU PRPIO.

In view of this, all students are required to watch the telecast of the said virtual graduation. To ensure the heartfelt spirit of the Commencement Exercises and Ceremony, all graduating students are highly encouraged to participate in the following program segments: Shifting of Abaray na Dayew; Ceremonial Abaray Toss; Pledge of Loyalty to the Alma Mater; Acceptance of Diploma from the Parents; and Induction of the Graduates to the University Alumni Association, Inc.

The said reenactment of the identified program segments shall be done in the respective residences of the graduates together with their parents. All graduates are encouraged to be in white or cream barong/ Filipiniana attire or plain light colored best Sunday dress/ attire considering the formality of the occasion.

The graduates are then expected to take pictures during the program segments and are advised to post their pictures in Facebook using the hashtag .
To add more excitement, the Office of the VPAASS together with PRPIO will be selecting 10 best photos and will be receiving special prizes.

Despite the challenges we encountered due to the pandemic, let us make the very first Virtual Graduation memorable and successful.

October 26, 2020.. Opening and start of operation of the LGU-PSU ICT KONEK-San Manuel, Pangasinan Learning Area, graced by the very supportive Hon. Mayor Kenneth Marco Perez, who provided the two storey learning area. The event was also attended by VPQA Dr. Elbert Galas, PSU Asingan CED Dr. Valentin Calpo Jr., Dean Nemia Galang, IT Chairman JB Doria, campus Nurse Aaron Agsalud, PSU Asingan faculty members, and students. The program is a brainchild of PSU President Dr. Dexter R. Buted, as a way of reaching out and providing safe and continuous learning to students despite the Covid19 pandemic through functional collaboration with the different LGUs...
