If God never allowed pain on earth,
we would never long for Him in heaven.
We would be too comfortable, too satisfied,
and we would forget Him.
We would ignore His voice.

This is not to romanticize pain,
but to remind you that God can use pain too.

Pain teaches you that you need God.
It shapes you into a stronger person.
It awakens you to reality.
It transforms you in ways comfort never could.

If pain is the very reason that makes you desire Him more, then so be it.
If it’s the only way that leads you to see God, embrace it.

We often ask why God allows hardships to happen.
But maybe it’s because without them,
we would cling too much to earth
and forget our true home in heaven.

Pain is part of God’s plan.
And when entrusted to Him,
pain is not wasted.
It becomes meaningful.
It becomes beautiful.

I pray you’ll learn to accept your pain,
grow through it,
and overcome it with Him.
