You don't have to know exactly where your life is going.

Sometimes, all you need to know is what the next right step looks like.

We put so much pressure on ourselves to have the answers to know the plan, understand the timing, and see the whole road ahead.

But life rarely works that way.

There will be seasons when the path feels uncertain. Seasons when you have more questions than answers. Seasons when all you can do is keep moving forward with the little light you have.

And that's okay.

You don't need to see the entire staircase to take the next step.

Take a breath.

Trust the process.

Take the next step.

Then take another.

One day, you'll look back and realize that those small steps were carrying you somewhere all along. 🤍

Today's reminder: You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep going.

Save this for a day when you need the reminder, and share it with someone who might need it too.

Have you ever knelt
down to pray. .

and suddenly realized
you don't know what
to say?

You have the worry.

You have the questions.

You have the person
you love on your heart.

But the words won't come.

Amara thought she needed
to find the perfect
prayer.

Then one night, all
she could whisper was:

"God. .

I don't know what
to say."

And maybe that was
enough to begin.

Because prayer isn't
a performance.

You don't have to
sound eloquent.

You don't have to
have everything figured
out.

You can come to God
honestly.

Romans reminds us that
even when we don't know
what to pray for, the
Spirit helps us in our
weakness.

"Likewise the Spirit
also helpeth our
infirmities. ."

- Romans 8:26

Your prayer may be
a sentence.

A whisper.

A tear.

A sigh.

Come as you are.

God already knows
your heart. 🤍

Have you ever prayed
for an answer

and heard nothing?

You prayed again.

You waited.

You wondered if God
had forgotten you.

But what if silence
doesn't always mean
absence?

Sarah spent weeks
asking God for direction.

Nothing changed.

No obvious sign.

No sudden answer.

No breakthrough.

Then one day, she
stopped asking for
an explanation.

She simply sat still.

And slowly, she began
to notice what she had
been missing:

The child quietly
reading in the library.

The elderly man who
faithfully returned to
the same chair.

The morning light
through the window.

The ordinary work
she had been given
for that day.

The silence wasn't
empty.

It was teaching her
to listen.

"Be still, and know
that I am God."

- Psalm 46:10

If you're in a quiet
season right now,
don't assume God
has left.

Be still.

He is still there. 🤍

What do you do when
you've prayed. .

you've thought. .

you've asked for advice. .

and you still don't
know what comes next?

Jonah wanted certainty.

But sometimes faith
doesn't give us the
whole map.

It gives us enough
light for the next step.

"Trust in the LORD
with all thine heart;
and lean not unto
thine own understanding.

In all thy ways
acknowledge him,
and he shall direct
thy paths."

Proverbs 3:5–6

You may not know
where the road leads.

But you can trust
the One who does. 🤍

Sometimes we're so busy
creating beautiful moments
for everyone else

that we forget to stop
and enjoy one ourselves.

Elena spends her days
surrounded by flowers.

But one afternoon,
she finally slows down.

She laughs with her family.

She shares food with
her neighbors.

She notices one simple
flower.

And she realizes something:

Joy doesn't always arrive
as a major blessing.

Sometimes it's already
sitting quietly in front
of you.

"That my joy might remain
in you, and that your joy
might be full."

- John 15:11

You don't have to wait
for everything to be
perfect to be grateful.

Make room for joy today. 🤍

What if starting over
isn't proof that you failed?

Daniel thought his first
chapter was over.

But sometimes God doesn't
ask us to go back.

He asks us to take the
next step.

You may not see the
whole road.

You may not know how
everything will work out.

But you can still begin.

"Behold, I will do
a new thing; now it
shall spring forth."

- Isaiah 43:19

Maybe your new beginning
doesn't need to look
impressive.

Maybe it just needs
to begin. 🤍

Sometimes we spend
so much time asking
God for what comes next
that we forget to notice
what He has already done.

The family you once
prayed for.

The opportunity you
once hoped for.

The strength you once
needed.

The ordinary day you
once wished you could
have.

Sometimes the blessing
isn't something new.

Sometimes you simply
need to remember.

"Forget not all his
benefits."
- Psalm 103:2

Before you ask God
for tomorrow. .

thank Him for today. 🤍

Have you ever done
everything you know
to do

and then had
nothing left
but to wait?

You submitted
the application.

Made the call.

Had the conversation.

Finished the work.

Prepared for the next step.

And still. .

nothing.

No answer.

No movement.

No clear indication
of what's coming next.

That's where waiting
can become difficult.

Because when you can't
control the outcome,
you may start trying
to control everything
around it.

You check again.

You send another email.

You make another plan.

You compare yourself
to people who seem
to be moving faster.

But Psalm 27:14 says:

"Wait for the LORD;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD."

Waiting is not
the same as doing nothing.

You can keep working.

Keep preparing.

Keep showing up.

Keep being faithful.

But you don't have
to manufacture
an outcome.

You don't have
to force a door open.

You don't have
to put your entire
life on pause
until something changes.

Do what is
in your hands today.

Release what isn't.

And let tomorrow
remain tomorrow.

You may not be able
to see what is happening.

That doesn't mean
nothing is happening.

What if you've been
praying for the storm
to end. .

and it hasn't?

Maybe you've been
waiting for the phone call.

Waiting for the repair.

Waiting for the diagnosis
of a situation to change.

Waiting for your family
to be okay.

Waiting for life
to feel normal again.

And eventually
you start asking:

"God, how much longer?"

Isaiah 43:2 doesn't say
you will never pass
through deep water.

It says:

"When you pass through
the waters, I will be
with you."

There is a difference.

God's presence
is not measured
by how quickly
the storm disappears.

You can be exhausted
and still have faith.

You can have questions
and still trust God.

You can admit:

"This is hard."

without believing:

"God has left me."

Sometimes the prayer
isn't even:

"God, make this stop."

Sometimes it's:

"God, stay with me
while I'm here."

You don't have to
cross the whole river
today.

You don't have to
carry tomorrow
before it arrives.

Take the next step.

And then the next one.

He is still with you.

Isaiah 43:2

12/08/2026

What if you're waiting
for certainty before
you move?

You pray.

You research.

You make lists.

You ask people
what they would do.

You check every possible
outcome.

And still,

you don't know.

Maybe that's because
you were never meant
to know the whole road.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says:

"Trust in the LORD
with all your heart
and lean not
on your own understanding."

Trust doesn't mean
you stop thinking.

It doesn't mean
you stop preparing.

It doesn't mean
you ignore wisdom,
counsel, or consequences.

It means you stop
demanding complete
certainty before
you are willing
to move.

You can pray.

You can seek wisdom.

You can prepare.

And then,

when the next faithful
step becomes clear,

you can take it.

You may not know
what is around the bend.

You may not know
exactly how the story
will unfold.

You may still feel afraid.

But you don't have
to carry tomorrow
before it arrives.

You only need
to trust God
with the step
in front of you.
