We will be present at the Amsterdam Aviation Collectors Fair (AACF) on Sunday, 22 February 2026.

At our stand, we will present a carefully curated selection of aviation books, with a strong focus on Naval Aviation. The fair offers an excellent opportunity to engage with fellow aviation enthusiasts, browse the available titles, and exchange knowledge on naval air power and carrier operations.

Fortunate to catch another privately owned aircraft which was the fighter trainer platform of the French Air Force. The sound of the engines had a high pitch, and was compared to a whistling teapot.

During the RIAT arrival days these two aircraft showed up during the air-air photoshoot hosted by the Aviation Photocrew. The front aircraft is a CASA 1.131E Jungmann and is another remarkable example of the beauty of preserved aircraft.

Dear fellow aviation enthusiast,

Since a few years Angelo Romano and myself have been working on a new book project concerning the History of VAW-13 and VAQ-130 “ZAPPERS”.

The book compilation is in it’s final stage, but we are missing illustrative material of the “EA-18G Growler (both in action and static) for the 2011-2025 timeframe".

With this message we would like to ask if there is anyone who is willing to help us with such images. Any close-up detail images you might have, on specific aircraft would be very welcome as well.

Should we end up using anyone of your images for the book, we will provide proper credit to the original author, in the caption of the image. As this is a self-financed project, we cannot ensure a financial compensation, but we will provide a copy of the book should we end up in using your photos.

In our latest article, we spoke with CDR Carl Ellsworth about the unique operational challenges faced by the VAQ-130 “Zappers” and their EA-18G Growlers as they deploy aboard the USS *Dwight D. Eisenhower* in the Red Sea. As the Zappers tackle complex missions in this critical region, CDR Ellsworth provided valuable insights into the demands and accomplishments of this dedicated squadron.
