Art Deco Palm leaves – Now Available in My Spoonflower Shop 🪴 
This was my entry for the Art Deco Design Challenge – a hand-drawn palm leaf pattern in rich tones of green, golden yellow, orange, and terracotta. Inspired by vintage glamour, with a warm, earthy twist. A bold yet timeless interpretation of Art Deco style.✨

This design is also available in multiple colorways, like cool blues, soft pinks, Japandi-inspired neutrals… and more! You can also choose from various scales to suit your project, whether it’s fabric, wallpaper or home decor.

Matching coordinating designs are also available – like the terracotta and white stripe you see here, ideal for combining with the palm print in curtains, cushions or other interior accents.

Zo simpel, zo mooi 🌸

Zacht roze op ruw hout, een kleine reminder dat er altijd ruimte is om te bloeien en te groeien, ook op onverwachte plekken.

Lente, bloesem, vormen, kleuren... er zijn vele dingen die mij inspireren voor mijn ontwerpen. Of het nou voor een logo is, een complete huisstijl of voor een dessin voor op stof of behang , het begint vaak met iets kleins wat ik zie of hoor tijdens bijvoorbeeld mijn wandelingen...

 A hand-carved inspired design of three tulips in different stages of bloom, gently printed in a soft blush pink, celebrating the beauty of growth and simplicity. 🌷

🌺✨ I’m in the Top 10! ✨🌺
 Wow – I’m beyond excited to share that my design “Bold Hibiscus Blooms” placed #8 in the Bold Florals Challenge, out of 2098 designs!

This was my first time making it to the top 10, I’m so happy and did a little dance. I’m so grateful for all the support and love. 💛

Creating this hand-drawn hibiscus pattern in fresh summer tones was a joy – and seeing it resonate with you means the world to me.

Charming Novelty Paisley ✨

I’ve been having so much fun creating new pattern designs for the challenge!

This time, I’m excited to share my entry for the Novelty Paisley challenge. ✨

Paisley is such a timeless and elegant motif, and I wanted to give it a fresh, playful twist. I hand-drew every element, and I incorporated hints of spring with delicate spring flowers and busy bees, adding an extra touch of nature to the design. The color palette features teal blue, light blue, golden brown, and a soft cream background, creating a balanced mix of vibrancy and warmth.

Perfect for fabric, wallpaper, bedding or home decor, this pattern brings a classic yet modern and charming feel to any space!

Het duurt nog wel eventjes, maar de lente is echt in aantocht, zag ik tijdens mijn wandelingen afgelopen week :-)

Sophisticated vertical arrow stripes >>>

Yes! These weeks, I’ve been drawing and designing lots of new pattern designs for some exciting challenges.

This is my entry for the Spoonflower Sophisticated Stripes challenge. Stripes and lines come in all kinds of designs and can be used for any sewing project, home decor, or wallpaper, for example.

I chose a simple yet warm look and feel, using the Color of the Year: Mocha Mousse, paired with a matching color palette. All the arrows are unique and hand-drawn by me.

Wow, deze week is goed van start gegaan! ✨

De zon schijnt eindelijk weer, heerlijk weer voor een frisse wandeling, en je voelt de warmte van het zonnetje al in je gezicht.

Alles ziet er zo veel vriendelijker uit als de zon schijnt! ☀️

Ook heb ik nieuwe dessins ontworpen, die binnenkort weer op te vinden zijn.

en ik hebben een start gemaakt voor de WIH folder nr. 3. (Oeh, nu al zin om met de vormgeving aan de slag te gaan, :-)

Verder staan er nog veel toffe dingen op de planning deze week, zoals werken aan mijn nieuwe website, een marketing meeting met .nl naar de BOB-borrel van , zoom-talk met mijn dierbare pattern design group, uiteten met vriendinnen, pilates, feestje en... ik ga nog meer dessins tekenen... 😊
