This is Galina.
She lives in Kramatorsk, alone. She has no relatives or family. 👩👵💔 Galina turned to us for help, we had a sincere conversation with her for a long time. She said that everyone else she approached ignored her requests. She didn’t need much: the most common medicines and some food. We made a humanitarian package for her, but then couldn't reach her for some time.

She said that everyone else she approached ignored her requests. She didn’t need much: the most common medicines and some food. We made a humanitarian package for her, but then couldn't reach her for some time.
We waited a week for her to call again, but nothing. ☎️ 🧐 All we knew was the street where she lives and the house number. We decided to look for her.
The house where she lives was empty. Most have evacuated. There was nobody to even open the door. ❌ But we didn't stop looking. We wrote notes, put them in mailboxes and on doors.
And then, Galina called us! 😍 She said that she was very lonely and asked permission to sometimes call to at least talk to someone. She also said that she exactly remembers our conversation with her and was waiting for us very much, but she did not dare to call again. 😔
Today, not only did we talk to her, we gave her the medicine and food she needs, as none is available in the city.
There are many elderly people like Galina. We think they deserve to get help. Don't you? 🥲
