Following a second successful virtual conference, delivered by the Arena Resilience Alliance, in partnership with the EAA and IQ Magazine this afternoon, the ARA has published a manifesto to help articulate and manage what needs to be done to bring back live music and sporting events.

The Arena Resilience Alliance (ARA) - a special purpose initiative, created by the European Arenas Association (EAA) – hosts its second virtual conference, : The Return Leg on Thursday 18 February.

Top names from the worlds of live music and sport will come together with key EU decision-makers for the event, which will follow an ambitious live music experiment organised by the Rockhal arena which takes place in Luxembourg this week. Behind the scenes content and insights from the Rockhal test concerts will be screened as part of the conference, offering an opportunity to reflect on the lessons learned and next steps and helping to frame the discussion around what still needs to be done. The ARA will also launch its manifesto, outlining the next steps required to build towards the safe return of live events across Europe

Save the Date: Following the success of the inaugural Arena Resilience Alliance virtual conference in December, the ARA will host a second free online event, : The Return Leg on 18 February, in association with IQ Magazine.

The event will centre around discussions between industry and key EU decision-makers about the safe return for live music and sports events and will explore the findings of an ambitious live music experiment, taking place at Rockhal, Luxembourg.

We are all in this together - from the smallest arena to the global operators - and the common focus going forward should be on business continuity, job security and protection of mental health of everyone involved.

The Covid-19 pandemic has devastated the live events ecosystem across Europe. With the closure of virtually all arenas and large event venues, the live music and sports industries have been amongst the hardest hit.
