IFFR Trainee Project for Young Film Critics

The IFFR Trainee Project for Young Film Critics is a talent development programme held as part of and during International Film Festival Rotterdam.

The IFFR Trainee Project for Young Film Critics, created in 1998, is the talent development programme of International Film Festival Rotterdam that offers up to six young (under 30 years), motivated and talented professional film critics from outside the Netherlands a chance to travel abroad, cover a major international film festivals and, in particular, get acquainted with International Film Fest

ival Rotterdam and the broad range of independent cinema it offers. The programme of the Trainee Project includes taking part in the Rotterdam FIPRESCI Jury meetings; exploring an assigned part of the festival; publishing a blog on the IFFR website; taking part in expert meetings; and reporting about the festival for any own affiliation(s).
