The progress on this horse so far 😄 5 hours in so far and over 5000 strokes. I’m very happy with how he looks. I think the body is pretty much done. So the next thing to focus on is the forelock and mane. That will be a challenge I think, but can’t wait to get started.

My fluffy poodle based on my own dog Winston ❤️ I’m very happy with how it turned out 😊

The struggle was real in the beginning 😅 I have a talent of turning fluffy dogs into clowns lol I tend to stay away from fluffy dogs, but I want to be able to draw them. And that means? Practice. Yes! This whole journey of doodle dogs is practice and become better at it. So this was good practice and I succeeded 😄

Attempt number 3 of the doodle dogs 😊 I can’t believe it myself but I finished this cutie-patootie in 30 minutes! I had my vision clear and it actually made it on paper, uhh… screen 😆

Attempt number 2 of the cartoony doggos. Long story short; I’m not happy with it 😅 I did figure out how I like to draw the nose and mouth, so I will be working with that moving forward. Need to figure out the rest still. So far, not so good lol

For some reason I cannot draw dogs in cartoon form. I honestly think I overthink it and that’s what’s blocking me. I want to do it too neat 🤷‍♀️ But cartoons are all about freeform. Every time I see all the cute doggies in cartoon form, I melt 🥰

This doggy is my first attempt. It took me hours 😂 and it’s not exactly how I wanted it. I wanted to give him black ears, but that kept looking weird. No matter how many times I tried something different. So I said to myself; stop. This simple version is cute too. Just let it be.

So here he is 😄 My first little floofer!
What do you think? If you have any tips, please let me know. I’d love to learn so I can get better ☺️
