After Inside Us All‘s last downtempo release with Super Molecule Records, Ascension is the first of three 20-minute ambient pieces to be released as a single, and later as part of an album. Ascension was also featured in the Onair Onsite 2025 radio festival here in The Hague (https://www.abhayrautela.com/blog/insideusall-ascension-onaironsite-2025-radio-festival-the-hague/).

Ascension, released now as a single, will later be part of a 3-track ambient album designed for deep meditation, relaxation, and sleep, with each track built around a contemplative phrase.

For “Ascension,” the phrase is: “May we all live in awe and wonder.” You are invited to embrace this phrase on your own or together with others, addressing it to whomever you choose. Abhay Rautela (Inside Us All) addresses it to the universe.

By using “us” instead of “I,” this meditation shifts the focus from the individual to the collective, reflecting the idea of shared consciousness. The music offers a space for both personal and communal reflection, guiding listeners on a sonic journey toward inner peace and universal connection.

Inside Us All returns with Ascension — a 21-minute ambient piece designed to support sleep, focus, and meditation. A shorter 3-minute version will also be available for playlist-friendly listening while working.

Releasing on June 27, Ascension was recently featured at the Onair Onsite festival in The Hague, and is the first in a series of ambient singles forming a staggered album release — each centered around a contemplative phrase.
