During the festival, the pop-up space Duo Volcano is transformed into an experimental exhibition and meeting space in Tilburg. There will be a range of artwork, performances and an interactive installation(!) on show, and they will transport you to the world of paper mache dungeons, and portals leading into the unknown.
𝔖𝔱𝔦𝔧𝔫 𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔅𝔯𝔞𝔞𝔨
Stijn ter Braak primarily exhibits large-scale installations and sculptures. Using discarded materials, he reconstructs both his own and public living spaces at full scale, including his bathroom, parts of his studio, and even an entire street in Antwerp. In each of these works, he plays with perspective and trompe-l’œil effects, allowing the viewer to experience often mundane reality through a renewed lens.
A recurring element in Ter Braak’s work is that the building blocks he uses, various kinds of collected junk, always remain visible in one way or another. This not only blurs the boundary between art and everyday materials, but also invites reflection on the value we attach to the objects and materials with which we shape our surroundings.
𝔐𝔞𝔯𝔦𝔢𝔨𝔢 𝔇𝔯𝔲𝔦𝔳𝔢𝔫
Marieke Druiven is an illustrator and animator from the Netherlands. Her work has a strong handmade feel, whether it is an illustration, miniature, screen print, or installation. Her style is characterized by raw yet detailed forms and materials such as cardboard, paper maché and other thick materials. The themes in her work often revolve around human interaction, family, friends, the bizarre, but also the everyday.

Segadeath creates more than just a sound, it creates a space. A glitch-ridden cathedral, a neon-lit dungeon, a haunted arcade where synths wail like ghosts and melodies echo like memories. They pull from a mix of influences, from ancient ambient textures to the warped intensity of underground electro from the 80’s, all filtered through a strong anti-fascist and anti-cop lens and a deep love for storytelling through sound.
