TVB Hong Kong Expands Broadcast Operations with 4 OnAir TV Licenses

Caliope is proud to announce that TVB (Television Broadcasts Limited), Hong Kong’s leading free‑to‑air broadcaster, has acquired 4 OnAir TV licenses (https://caliope.media/onair-tv/) to strengthen and modernize its broadcast scheduling and playout workflows.

This project is delivered in close cooperation with Mediatech, Caliope’s official system integrator and long‑standing technology partner in Hong Kong. Together, Caliope and Mediatech are supporting TVB in streamlining daily operations, enhancing automation, and ensuring a future‑proof scheduling environment.

OnAir TV (https://caliope.media/onair-tv/) just got a workflow upgrade!

You can now assign users to items and track progress with clear status labels like To Do, In Review, and Done.

Each user can instantly filter the library to see their own items, grouped by status, making collaboration faster, clearer, and more efficient.

This new workflow upgrade will be released in version 12.3.0, due for May 12.

Omroep Zilt selects Caliope’s OnAir Radio to power its broadcast automation.

Omroep Zilt, the regional broadcaster serving the communities of Northwest Friesland, has officially chosen Caliope’s OnAir Radio as its new radio automation platform. The decision marks a strategic upgrade in the station’s technical infrastructure, enabling smoother operations, greater flexibility, and significant time savings across its daily programming.

Omroep Zilt is known for its deep regional roots and mix of local news, culture, and music. The station sought a modern, future-proof solution that could handle both live and automated workflows with ease. After evaluating several options, OnAir Radio stood out for its intuitive interface, robust scheduling tools, and seamless integration capabilities.
