📢 CEP publishes the European Mental Health Training Curriculum for Probation Staff

1) CEP is proud to launch a groundbreaking European curriculum designed to strengthen probation staff competence and mental health literacy across Europe.

Developed by the CEP Expert Group on Mental Health in Probation, the curriculum covers key topics including trauma, psychosis, substance use, crisis intervention, neurodivergence, gender, and staff resilience.

2) 🚀 CEP is also launching a call for one member jurisdiction to pilot the curriculum nationally, with:
✔️ Up to €6,000 in financial support
✔️ Strategic and technical guidance
✔️ Implementation and evaluation support
✔️ European dissemination opportunities

3) 📅 Join our webinar on 21 May to explore the curriculum modules and learn more about the pilot implementation initiative.

The Confederation of European Probation has published the Technical Recommendations on Mentoring in the Context of Probation Training, developed by the CEP Expert Network on Education and Training.

Created through collaboration between 30 experts from 15 European jurisdictions, the recommendations focus on:
🔹 The role and ethics of mentors
🔹 Mentoring within Core Correctional Skills training
🔹 The responsible use of digital technologies
