Birdcage is growing, and we’re looking for new hands, fresh ideas, and people who want to build with us. 🕊️

From radio programming and event production to social media, writing, studio care, deco, internships, and everything in between. There are many ways to become part of the nest.

Whether you’re a student looking for experience, an artist wanting to contribute, or someone with a wild idea waiting to happen, we’d love to hear from you. Some roles are hands-on, some are creative, some are organisational, but all of them help keep this community alive.

Learn new skills, connect with local artists, and help shape the future of independent radio in Utrecht.

Head to birdcageradio.com/volunteering for all open positions and more information.

Come build with us. ❤️

🎶 Lieke’s Singing Circle is back! 🎶

Join us for another special evening of music, connection, and shared voices.

Lieke will guide us on a musical journey through songs she has collected during her travels around the world. Together we’ll sing simple, English songs that invite us to open our hearts, connect with ourselves, and connect with one another ❤️

With her guitar and gentle guidance, everyone is welcome.

✨ No singing experience needed
✨ Think you can’t sing? Come anyway
✨ Feeling shy? You’re especially welcome
✨ This is a safe space to explore — it’s not about skills, but about sharing

📅 Monday, July 13, 2026
🕖 19:00–21:00
📍 2e Daalsedijk 8, 3551 EJ Utrecht

This activity is donation-based. You can contribute during sign-up or bring a donation to the studio.

We can’t wait to sing with you 💛
