The dreamy sea town of Forio, a perfect setting to wander around and enjoy the sound of the sea and the breeze going through a colourful marquise at a local café….

I’m proud to be featured in the new expo à la cARTe by in Tilburg. It’s the first time a photograph from the series ‘La vita lenta’ is on display.

The photograph is part of a 3 month expo by the theme ‘Serotonine’; the hormone that we produce when we’re experiencing happy vibes. And that’s something I can relate to, when going on walks with my camera. Next to my work, you can find the works of many other local artists.

My journey to Italy has been a joy to my eyes, exploring all the two islands in the bay of Napels have to offer during my long walks.
The shapes, colours, textures and the Mediterranean light are like a dream unfolding in front of you. You just have to take the time to let it all in and capture the moments with your camera.

The wallet Voyage has accompanied me on my travel to Italy. Inspired by the Mediterranean, with its round shapes, and made to fit all your daily needs it made a great travel companion!

I finally took the time to print and frame some of my photography from last year’s travel to Italy, before embarking on a next adventure with my camera.

This series is called ‘la vita lenta’ and is inspired by the tranquil island life. To escape the busy city life and just live in the moment. For me that meant walking, taking in the fresh island breeze and trying out a different local cake every day.

I could just adorn the wall of my home with them, but maybe you know another place where I could present them for a while? Let me know if you have any suggestions!
