Last week we did another workshop in collaboration with , this time focussing on DJ’ing! 🪩

We gave a short introduction into the history of DJ’ing and how to find all kinds of different music before jumping right into the practical things. In just about 2 hours everyone learned the basics of mixing and how to work the professional DJ gear 🎛️

We had a lot of fun hosting the workshop, big shoutout to all the attendees! Another shoutout goes to BROED for facilitating us with the chance spread our knowledge and get people excited about the beautiful world of DJ’ing, thank you so much.

We would love to do more of these workshops, so if you’re looking for experienced teachers - know where to find us ❤️📩

Friday last week we had the honor to do a radio workshop w/ .

During one evening our workshoppers got an introduction on (online) radio, sonic storytelling and how to use the studio gear. Directly after the workshop they went online with their ideas which resulted in a very fun and diverse radioshow.

Hi there! Internet radio-platform Stranded FM wants to make Utrecht a nicer place. We push local musical talent, stimulate creators and provide a hub for the many cultural institutes that our city inhibits.

We give attention to both new innovative artists and forgotten sounds from the wide musical spectrum. Be sure to catch odd radio plays, societal discussions and other artistic surprises between the notes as well.

Stranded FM is officially a non-profit foundation and since 2015 collaborated with parties such as TivoliVredenburg, EKKO, Gaudeamus, Lowlands, het Centraal Museum and Le Guess Who? festival.
