Looking back into the valley that we started hiking from on a perfect winter morning. Right now this is the complete opposite from the heatwave that’s hitting Europe the last couple of days.. 🥵 But it’s a good time to sit back and enjoy the beaches back home!

Explore your own backyard they said. And so we did! 🛵 In just eleven days we cruised through seven provinces of The Netherlands that we’ve never really seen in our lives. It definitely changed the way how we look at our own country! Adventure is closer than you think, especially with the brand new camperscooters from .nl. Hope you enjoyed the behind the scenes on our Instagram stories! Note: it was the first time that we actually set up a tent and slept in it (excuse our camping struggles).. 😅

Dear Mount Ushba - or also known as the Queen of the Caucasus. From the moment we spotted you peaking through the clouds in the far distance, it was already pretty clear for both of us. We knew we had to climb as close as possible to admire your greatness. Okay, maybe this sounds like a weird love letter, but this mountain really had something special.. 🙄 Maybe that’s because the twin peaks are even unreachable for some of the best mountaineers! It’s difficult to describe the moment when we finally peeked over the ridge after eight hours of climbing, but this view of the whole mountain range most definitely stunned us. To give you a feeling of scale, we stitched seven photos together into one panoramic photo. Who doesn’t love a perfect reflection! 🤟 It means the sun is shining bright and there’s no wind - the best ingredients for a hike in the mountains. Keep an eye out on our YouTube channel for one last adventure in Georgia, where we climb even higher on the Ushba plateau.

Important survival question coming up! 🤠 Just imagine, what would you do when you’re in the middle of nowhere and your campervan breaks down? Listen up, because who knows this will save your life one day. First and foremost, stay calm and have a filling breakfast (don’t forget the very essential cup of coffee). Second, hike to the top of a mountain to get cell phone reception and text the owner of the campervan, basically saying.. SOS - save our souls! And this actually worked out. True story! 😂

At the end of 2019 we travelled through Georgia with our campervan. Georgia is such a unique destination for the real adventurer. Beautiful landscapes, lots of hiking, unique culture and affordable!
