Sometimes you come across abandoned houses and villa's and you don't really know the history behind it and there isn't also much information laying around. But still you wonder, why is it abandoned? What happened? And why is such a beautiful structure with such amazing details just left there to rot?

We explored this huge abandoned industrial site, which is a very popular urbex location, and also a well known factory in general. As it is one of the biggest industrial sites in Belgium. It used to be a steel and coal factory back in the day, now it just sits there, slowly becoming one with nature. 🌿

The whole area is the size of 68 soccer fields, and had some really interesting things to see, such as control rooms, machinery and ofcourse the blast furnace! We spend over 4 hours exploring this place, while there was active security patrolling the area. So we had to be really stealthy, which kinda made it an whole different experience.

Sometimes searching for locations can be a pain in the ***, but it's totally worth the rewarding feeling when you accidently stumble upon such an abandoned beauty, and get to infiltrate and explore it. 🤩

Especially if it's so untouched like this one, with almost only just natural decay! We had a LOT to check out, so stay tuned to see more of this beautiful church! ⛪

We explored an abandoned bar 🍻🐘 with most of the stuff and even the liquor left behind. Even the electricity and most of the appliances were still working.💡🤩
