A New Chapter in a Timeless Love Story Thirty years after the release of the first part of Romeo and Juliet by Sergei Prokofiev, Johan de Meij presents a breathtaking sequel. This brand-new three-part suite for concert band is not a repetition of existing orchestral suites, but an original selection of ballet fragments that are particularly well-suited for a powerful and expressive arrangement.

With his unique arranging style and deep musical insight, De Meij captures the essence of Prokofiev’s masterpiece and translates it into the rich color palette of the concert band – compelling, dramatic, and refreshingly original.

Molenaar Edition is especially proud of its collaboration with Johan de Meij – an internationally acclaimed composer and arranger who has more than earned his place in the world of wind music.

Een bijzondere avond! De kick off van een heel mooi project, Veenendaalse Harmonie Caecilia speelt een ode aan Ruud Bos. Een avondvullend programma met muziek van Bos. Vanavond de eerste repetitie voor dit project en de eerste keer dat de bladmuziek van de Efteling muziek van Ruud Bos, vers van de pers van Molenaar Edition Sheetmusic Publisher, gespeeld gaat worden.
Op de foto dirigent Thijs Musch en voorzitter Mirjam van Houten die samen met Ruud Jan Bos de muziek mochten uitpakken.
