I used to believe creativity was about control.

Control over ideas.
Control over outcomes.
Control over time.

Then I became a father.

And control quietly left the room.

My days stopped being predictable. My focus got interrupted. My energy was no longer mine alone. At first, it felt like creativity was slipping away from me.

But something unexpected happened.

I started to see creativity differently.

Patience became part of the process. Not the passive kind, but active patience. The kind that listens, observes, and adapts. The same way you respond to a child who is learning, exploring, testing boundaries.
