DJ Patl, EventDJ, ConceptDJ, TangoDJ and ClubDJ
Patl started to learn DJing and turntables 21 years ago in the youth club in Hønefoss. In 1998 his greatest interest was conscious rap and breakdance music. Throughout the years the horizons on dancable music and good message in songs has broadened to genres from faraway world corners. Recent years he worked in the radio shows "Musikk fra Verden" og "Lydmuren" with eclectic, fusioned and ethnic music, along with playing records at clubs with Audinho da Vitrola (co-founder of Klubb Kannibal). The style of playing is "coloring outside the lines" which crosses genres and styles in a neat and danceable way. In Bergen started Patl with tango and latin venues for local social dancers, and developed cumbia and afro-styles along with neo-funk and hiphop beats all spiced up with world music and club-beats. He has played at BIMF, Jassbox, Røverdatter and Øya-spesial. On his mixcloud he has dousins of radio-shows and odd mixes, it keeps pumping new mixes out. Patl is an Anthropologist of dance and is trained to connect music to get your body moving.
