Richard Bachman was the pseudonym that Stephen King used for five novels up to 1985, and two more afterwards. In this film Max Eriksson tells the ’true’ story of Richard Bachman.

”The project is utterly unique in that it takes the character of King’s pseudonym seriously and then goes beyond the fragments, clues, myths, rumors and hearsay that exist and builds a compelling visual story.”

How to Save a Dead Friend by Marusya Syroechkovskaya is awarded Coup de cœur ACID-France Culture at the Festival de Cannes today!

Here’s what Lucas, one of the student judges, wrote about HTSADF:
“What an incredible film! It’s so touching and plunges us into the heart of a society impacted by su***de, drugs and fear of the future. The voice-over tells another story, which serves and extends the main story. Sound is used to serve the image. It’s a fabulous piece of work and above all a magnificent tribute.”
