The DJ duo consisting of John Olav Nilsen and Nakne Anders from the
infamous Vestkystforbindelsen navigates in the waters between soothing
alternative pop and melancholic melodies. Sailing from emerald-hued
Balearic hymns to the jagged shores of post-punk and synth pop, their
track selections fall on the deck like the tears of Vestlandet-
effortless, natural, and delightfully unpredictable.

This month’s special Bass-on guest is… PLLANOR! A DJ and producer from Bergen, Norway, who has carved out a distinct niche within the electronic music scene, focusing on deep house, minimal tech, and dub techno. Regularly performing at venues like Skaugum in Oslo, PLLANOR has become a significant figure in Norway’s vibrant underground scene.

In addition to his solo work, PLLANOR’s collaboration with Simon Field on the track «Gone Gone Gone,» released on Basement Records, has gained attention. The track is part of Simon Field’s album Panda and showcases a fusion of Oslo’s underground sounds with elements of classic house. The release has received positive feedback from prominent DJs and music platforms.

PLLANOR’s ability to consistently push the boundaries of deep, minimal sounds while maintaining a connection with his audience has solidified his reputation as an artist to watch in the electronic music scene.
Lately has released a track on the Bergen legendary record label Tellerecords for Bergen Tellektro city compilation.

With roots stretching from house and techno to metal and goth rock, Klysterik’s sets dive deep into his collection to uncover unique gems and unexpected blends. Lately, he’s been crafting his own productions across different projects — exploring sounds that move between dubtechno, UKG, house, deep dubstep, breaks, and darkwave.

I bought some mediocre turntables and a mixer with my christening money (didn’t last long!). Fast forward to 2020, we started Veldig Klubb here at Vers Libre — now turning 5 years and 150 shows strong!” 🎉
