A FLEETING GLIMPSE turns 4!

Released on September 30, 2022, this four-track EP is a very personal homage to one of my all-time favourite bands, Pink Floyd - featuring all-original music written and recorded especially for the project.

Joining me are Arild Brøter Arild Brøter (Pymlico) on drums, Øyvind Brøter (Pymlico) on keyboards, Per Øydir on Farfisa organ, and the incredible Durga McBroom Durga McBroom, one of Pink Floyd’s legendary backing vocalists.

A personal favourite is A Voyage to the Sun. I had so much fun writing and recording that one. I certainly did my best to jam as many Floyd references in there as I could!

Do you still listen to this album? Should I do a follow-up????

Arabs in Aspic continues its collaboration with Karisma Records – releasing the Norwegian‑language album Sorgens Kapittel on what would have been the 50th birthday of the late Stig Arve Kvam‑Jørgensen on Wednesday, October 21st 2026.

This will be a highly special and emotional release for the band. The album is being released on what would have been the 50th birthday of the band’s longtime organist and vocalist, Stig Arve Kvam‑Jørgensen, who passed away suddenly in 2025. The album title Sorgens Kapittel sets a deep and personal frame around the band’s newest work, serving both as a processing of the loss and a tribute to his musical legacy.

The single, Siste Dans, a taste of the upcoming album, is available to be streamed or downloaded. It is based on the last jam Stig Arve had with the band.

New single from Lumsk is out today!
The second single from the album is the track Haust på Torget.

Lumsk has this to say about the song:
"On this second single, our interpretation of “Haust på torget”, Jonsson’s dark poetry melts effortlessly together with Lumsk’s music. The result is a powerful union where folk traditions meet modern weight to capture the fleeting nature of autumn and life."

Following their acclaimed return after a long hiatus with 'Fremmede Toner', Lumsk have continued to refine their distinctive blend of progressive metal, folk rock and evocative Nordic storytelling.

On Einsemda, the band moves even deeper into the emotional core of the material, shaping music that amplifies the tension, vulnerability, beauty and darkness of Jonsson’s poetry.

Einsemda will be out on Karisma Records 30th of October.
