Donald Trump Über alles

I have rewritten the lyrics to the song "California über alles" by Dead Kennedys. "California Über Alles" is a song by Dead Kennedys. The single, which was the group's first recording, was released in June 1979 on the Optional Music label, with "The Man with the Dogs" appearing as its B-side. The title track was re-recorded in 1980 for the band's first album, Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables, and the original recording as well as the B-side were later included on the 1987 compilation Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death. The lyrics were written by Jello Biafra and John Greenway for their band The Healers. Biafra composed the music in one of his rare attempts at composing on bass. The title is an allusion to the first stanza of the national anthem of Germany, which begins with the words "Deutschland, Deutschland über alles" ("Germany, Germany above everything"). After the end of the Third Reich in 1945, this passage was removed and is no longer sung, as it is sometimes associated with Na**sm and the passage in question claimed a large area of land, no longer contained in the current borders of Germany. The lyrics are a pointed, satirical attack on Jerry Brown, the Governor of California from 1975–1983 (and later 2011–2019), and are sung from his perspective, as an imaginary version of Brown outlines a hippie-fascist vision of America. The line "Serpent's egg already hatched" is a reference to a comment on the corrosive nature of power from William Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar, and also a reference to the Ingmar Bergman film The Serpent's Egg set in N**i Germany that gets its title from the Shakespeare play. The lines "Big Bro on white horse is near" and "now it is 1984" refer respectively to a statement Brown made during his first governorship that Americans were supposedly looking for "a leader on a white horse", and to the totalitarian regime of George Orwell's classic novel Nineteen Eighty-Four to describe a future (from a 1979 perspective) where Jerry Brown has become President, and his "suede/denim secret police" kill "uncool" people in "organic poison gas" chambers.

N**i Punks F**k Off

Tom Adam Antonsen - All Instruments, vocals and engineering.

Produced by Tom Adam Antonsen in Riverside Studio 2016. Remixed in 2026.

"N**i Punks F**k Off" was the fifth single by the Dead Kennedys. It was released in 1981 on Alternative Tentacles with "Moral Majority" as the B-side. Both are from the In God We Trust, Inc. EP, although the EP version is a different recording from the single version. The single included a free armband with a crossed-out sw****ka. The design was later adopted as a symbol for the anti-racist punk movement Anti-Racist Action. The English grindcore band Na**lm Death recorded a cover of "N**i Punks F**k Off" for their 1993 EP of the same name. American Melodic death metal band Darkest Hour recorded a cover of the song for the 2007 album Kerrang! Higher Voltage. In the opening of the In God We Trust, Inc. version of "N**i Punks F**k Off", Biafra mentions English producer Martin Hannett, who had worked with Joy Division and Buzzcocks, accusing him, tongue-in-cheek, of having "overproduced" the recording. Hannett, in fact, did not work with the Dead Kennedys.

It`s not my birthday, but this is Latin American song number 80 from me that I have remixed over a couple of months. I have been recording these over a 10 year period, but now trying to get consistency between the songs. I hope I have succeeded!?

Their music is a fusion of African, Caribbean, jazz, funk, rock, Latin, and R&B and highlife. Osibisa were the most successful and longest lived of the African-heritage bands in London, alongside such contemporaries as Assagai, Chris McGregor's Brotherhood of Breath, Demon Fuzz, and Noir, and were largely responsible for the establishment of world music as a marketable genre.
