what is purpose of PCC Below Footing?

ANS..PCC used as bed concrete to level the undular surface of excavated soil. it provide firm surface to the foundation built over it for better load transfer.

PCC is done so as to provide base for foundation to avoide direct contact of foundation with soil.As the Grade of comcrete of PCC and Foundation is different it also provide material difference for ground bactrial effect on foundation.
