Falland is home to composer/muscian Kjell Samkopf and visual artist Caroline Ho-Bich-Tuyen Dang in Søndre Land municipality. This place has provided them with a home and also freedom to be inspired and creative with a large garden practice to ecological methods, including permaculture as a way to deal with the ecological crisis to help us be responsible food producers/consumers. It is clear that o
ur professional practice and daily living is closely intertwined with our activism for our planet. To date, we have created several small projects and started a publishing house, Falland Forlag. During late June through to September, we take bookings for guided tours around our permaculture garden, which also includes a three course dinner. Food is made from vegetables and plants that are in season within the garden and foraged in nearby forest areas.
