King Charles has chosen Dr Michael Dixon, a steadfast advocate for complementary and integrative medicine, to lead the medical team of the Royal Household’s medical team.

As confirmed by Buckingham Palace, Dr Dixon has taken the helm of the Royal Medical Household, overseeing a team of distinguished physicians and surgeons dedicated to looking after the Sovereign and the Royal Household.

In an official statement, Buckingham Palace highlighted Dr Dixon's impressive credentials as both a practising general practitioner and a member of the Royal College of GPs and the Royal College of Physicians.

Aside from this, the document pointed out that the king's position on homeopathy has been extensively documented. Referring to a previous article, the statement clarified his perspective: 'It is not about rejecting conventional medicines in favour of other treatments; the term 'complementary' medicine means precisely what it says.'

Tema for dagen er Antibiotikaresistens - trussel for folkehelsen. Kunnskap og utvikling av nye verktøy

Kl 12.00 - 16.00 avholdes et fagseminar for alle som har pasient kontakt. Seminaret er gratis. Vi ønsker påmelding til [email protected] innen 15.september. Dette av hensyn til pauseforfriskninger.

Kl 18.00 - 20.00 avholdes et åpent publikumsmøte.

Program kl. 1800-2000:

1800 Velkommen ved styreleder Solveig Mohr.
Introduksjon ved møteleder og rektor Andreas N. Bjørndal fra Norsk
Akademi for Naturmedisin. Det første kullet ved NAN utdannet de første
profesjonelle homeopater i 1979. Denne skolen åpnet også for
akupunktørutdanning som i dag er en akkreditert utdanning ved
Kristiania Høyskole.

1810-1825 Dr Alison Fixsen: Green social prescribing: experiences and
research in the UK and international research in this area. Hun er
seniorlektor og etikk-koordinator i sosialvitenskap og teknologi ved
University of Westminster, UK. Hun er en erfaren kvalitativ forsker innen
antibiotikaresistens og sosiale konsekvenser ved foreskrivning av
smertestillende medisiner.

1825-1840 Karen Seyersted: Komplementær og integrerende medisin som
skaper helse og velvære for dyr. Karen er fysioterapeut og har studert homeopati og integrert helsebehandling ved SIKH, Oslo og University of Central Lancashire, UK. Arbeider i dag for Whole Health Agriculture for å fremme dyrehelse i England

1840-1855 Erik Martiniussen: Er antibiotikaresistens i ferd med å ødelegge
helsevesenet fra innsiden? Han er journalist og forfatter med fokus på
miljø og klima, og er kjent for boken: Krigen mot bakteriene fra 2020.

1955-1910 Tore Fosso. Hva kan naturmedisin bidra med ved akutte og
kroniske plager i luftveiene før og etter covid-pandemien. Han er leder for Norske Homeopaters Landsforbund, og er i dag en av de som har
praktisert og undervist i naturmedisin i et helt yrkesliv i Bergen. Han er
representerer NHL i den europeiske organisasjonen for profesjonelle homeopater – ECCH.
