Treeclimber Media Treeclimber Media is an independent, nonprofit production company dedicated to telling stories that elicit empathy and action.

Directed by Jennifer Huang, we are currently making two films about survivors of human trafficking. We are currently launching "This Adventure Called California," a documentary short about recently-divorced Arnoldo, who comes to the United States from Mexico to win back his family but instead is exploited and despairing, until a chance encounter at a racquetball court changes the course of his lif

e. We are also editing "The Long Rescue," a feature-length documentary. Synopsis: An intimate journey into an unseen world, The Long Rescue follows Filipina teen s*x trafficking survivors for five years as they recover in a secret shelter and re-enter the world – hoping to overcome the poverty, predators, and pimps of their childhood. Can they reach their dreams of independence, or will they slide back into exploitation?

I’m so happy to announce that I've been selected as one of 12 recipients of ’s Eureka Fellowship Grant! 🎉 It's such an honor to be a part of this talented cohort of artists! The grant will support our top priority of bringing the film to vulnerable communities in the Philippines, the US, and provide mental health support and wellness to our protagonists!
