The room was packed for Sony’s partner event at !

We had the privilege of experts from Orange Polska: Pawel Kania, Michał Soliński and Michał Górski up on stage with the Sony team for a special Creativity Connected presentation.

They talked about the benefits of private 5G networks and the role they are already playing in live production, alongside the transformative shift towards software-defined broadcasts.

Some of the transformational projects mentioned included major cultural events in Poland. One was the use of 5G in a concert marking the 1000th anniversary of the coronation of Bolesław Chrobry, and the delivery of live video from Navy vessels as part of the Polish Army Day maritime parade.

The relationship between Nevion and Telenor goes from strength to strength 🏋️

It was great to be on stage with the Telenor team at , where we spoke about building a ground-breaking remote sport production ecosystem for Norway’s TV 2.

In the 2025 football season, 900 matches were delivered via remote production.

And in 2026, our partnership will drive an upgrade for SEF Svensk Elitfotboll, enabling centralized production of live football across 32 stadiums and two leagues.

Their insights reflect a wider commitment across our industry to build greener production workflows through IP infrastructure and smart orchestration.

Greetings from ! 👋 Our team has touched down in Amsterdam and are getting ready to talk to attendees about our product updates and Networked Live innovations.

Nevion will once again be on the Sony booth (13.A10).

Run for fun! 🏃

Our Polish colleagues went the extra mile by taking part in the Runmageddon race over the weekend in Gdańsk. The team scaled obstacles, crawled through mud and slid down slides!

Congratulations to all of those who took part, it was a courageous effort and a day to remember. 💪

Our very own Svein H. Haugen, Senior Solution Architect, will be alongside Frank Aarhus, Head of Network & Media Service Platform at Telenor, to discuss the role of remote production in reducing carbon footprints by as much as 90% and achieving significant cost savings.

They will also talk about the evolving partnership between Nevion and Telenor, drawing on a successful project to distribute live sport broadcasting for TV 2 and an upgrade for SEF Svensk Elitfotboll planned for 2026.

📣 Nevion Virtuoso now includes support for Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) 📣

As a key component of Sony’s Networked Live offering, Virtuoso’s new SRT functionality combines with the platform’s low-latency HEVC capabilities.

Most notably, this enables broadcasters to use unmanaged networks, including the Internet, for applications including ground-to-cloud-cloud-to-ground transport and connectivity back-up.

The latest upgrades to our VideoIPath platform are focused on usability.

A key component of Sony’s Networked Live offering, our flagship product has been made even more intuitive with simplified configuration, multi-language support and single sign-on (SSO).

It’s all with the aim of hiding the complexity of managing broadcast infrastructure, enabling organizations to achieve their production goals quickly and efficiently.

⛳ Driving success on the airwaves and the fairways! 🏌️

Well done to Fil Soares, Ashley Cochrane, Patrick Morel of Nevion and Daan Herreman and Christophe Anrys of Sony for taking part and coming 4th in Golf48, a charity golf tournament organized by Belgian public broadcaster RTBF.

The event raised a collective sum of €111,450 from donations to support CAP48 - RTBF projects, which support people with disabilities and young people in difficult situations in Belgium.

A fantastic round for a great cause!
