💥 NEW SIGNING 💥

Japanese stoner rockers HYLKO have joined our imprint Octopus Rising, bringing their own take on desert rock from Japan to the world.

Formed in 2020 around bassist Nori, a devoted Kyuss fan, HYLKO set out to create the sound of the desert despite coming from a country with no deserts of its own. Heavy riffs, thick bass, hypnotic grooves and a raw, psychedelic edge define their approach.

Now, HYLKO open a new chapter with “Green Spa”, the first track from their forthcoming album Rusty Quadrupeds Still Work.

“GREEN SPA” IS AVAILABLE ON ALL DIGITAL PLATFORMS.

Originally an instrumental band, HYLKO gradually introduced vocals after Moock began improvising over their music. For Rusty Quadrupeds Still Work, he has written the lyrics for every song, adding a new dimension to the band's heavy, groove-driven sound.

Rusty Quadrupeds Still Work is coming via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records.
