Winter has come to Dogbay. Yesterday the water temperature was 5-6 degrees centigrade throughout the whole water column.

Time to change into winter suit and gloves...........

And we met this years first Sea Angle (Clione limacina).

I was out nightdiving Monday last week, and met a small John Dory (the one to the right). It is not a common fish in Dogbay, but I see about 3-4 each year.

Then I dived the same spot on Thursday, and again met a small John Dory (the one to the left). I thought it was the same one, but still captured some images.

Then looking at the images at my computer, I realize that it is two different fishes. Strange. They were at exactly the same spot.

I dived the spot on Friday, no John Dory, but yesterday I met one again. I have not studied the images yet, but I think it is the same as I met Thursday.

Met this old warrior last night. Impressive size! I have never seen a larger sea trout before.
